Added minor improvements alongside creating centralized access to downloads, updates, documentation, and support for this shortcut through the KastriFamily Network.
Have you ever forgotten where you parked your car? Well, these shortcuts are the perfect bundle for you. It connects seamlessly with Apple CarPlay to track your trip, sending you a quick notification with the exact time and location whenever you start and end your drive.
This shortcut may ask for permission to access the following services.
Location - Used to access where you are.
Messages - Used to send your location to yourself.
Significant Locations - Optional
Modify the Messaging Script (Un-Parked Car)
This is required so that you can message yourself the location where you started driving.
Open the shortcut by pressing the button at the top right corner of the shortcut.
Scroll down to the messaging script at the end of the shortcut.
Add the recipient's contact info to the field.
Modify the Messaging Script (Parked Car)
This is required so that you can message yourself the location where you stopped driving.
Open the shortcut by pressing the button at the top right corner of the shortcut.
Scroll down to the messaging script at the end of the shortcut.
Add the recipient's contact info to the field.
Significant Locations (Optional)
If you have Significant Locations disabled this shortcut will provide an error message. For more information on Significant Locations or to bypass this, please see the Comment script located below the messaging script in the shortcut.
Creating an Automation (Un-Parked Car) [Directions for iOS 26]
This is required so that your iPhone knows to run this shortcut everytime you connect to CarPlay.
Select the Automation tab and press the + Button.
Scroll down and select CarPlay.
Select "Is Connected" "Run Immediately" & make sure "Notify When Run" is OFF, Then press Next.
Look for the "Un-Parked Car" shortcut and select it.
Creating an Automation (Parked Car) [Directions for iOS 26]
This is required so that your iPhone knows to run this shortcut everytime you disconnect from CarPlay.
Select the Automation tab and press the + Button.
Scroll down and select CarPlay.
Select "Is Disconnected" "Run Immediately" & make sure "Notify When Run" is OFF, Then press Next.
Look for the "Parked Car" shortcut and select it.
